garso plokštė statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Išorinis kompiuterio įtaisas garsui į kompiuterį įvesti, apdoroti ir išvesti. Prijungiama prie kompiuterio ↑pagrindinės plokštės. Atlieka garsų kūrimo, ↑tolydžiojo signalo keitimo ↑skaitmeniniu (pvz., kai garsas į kompiuterį įrašomas iš mikrofono), skaitmeninio signalo keitimo tolydžiuoju (pvz., atgaminant garsą) funkcijas. Naudojama kaip ↑MIDI protokolas. Bendrovės „Creative Technology“ garso plokščių šeima „SoundBlaster“ tapo garso plokščių (de facto) standartu, kurio laikosi daugelis kompiuterinės įrangos gamintojų.
